Chuks - I'm not a physician but the conventional wisdom out there seems to be that masturbation does not cause any physical harm that will interfere with the ability to have an erection. However, there does seem to be some sentiment that masturbation with the use of pornographic images may interfere with the ability to achieve an erection with a partner unless it's part of foreplay. There are a couple of links out there on the connection between masturbation and ED that you might find interesting.

Not an expert, but I do not think masterbation will cause ED, but I personally believe that if a man is used to stroking himself to ejaculation with his hand, that maybe a woman's vagina just can't compete with that.

If a problem with erection occur (after being checked by physician and no organic problem exists) maybe the man is acutely aware of his ability to satisfy himself and just do not get as excited about a woman's vagina like he will about masterbation. The man does not have to explain every detail to the woman of how to stroke him by hand manipulation when he can just do it himself.

Must be great that you have mastered the art of masterbation, and do not NEED anyone to satisfy you so you can concentrate on your religious beliefs.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability of a man to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for his or his partner's sexual needs.
