Q: what would suddenly cause the base of my erection to become smaller?

I am 58 and had a heart attack about four years ago. I have found that some of the statin drugs affect my erection. But i still normally did not have much of a problem. Then about a month ago I suddenly noticed the base of my erection was much smaller than normal and seemed more pronounced on the right side causing my penis to curve sharply to the right and causing my erection to bend. does anybody know what this could be?

Spartecus - There is a condition called Peyronie's disease that involves a curvature of the penis but most often not quite the type that you are describing. It has been potentially associated with trauma of some sort to the soft tissue of the penis and/or the use of beta blockers for high blood pressure. You should make an appt. to see an urologist for an accurate diagnosis and discussion of treatment options.
