Hi Chicity239,   Online sites are great places to get the information you need to help you manage your healthcare, but it can not take the place of a doctor's sound medical advice. I understand not having insurance makes it difficult, but the majority of the hospitals have programs for folks with no medical insurance. This sounds like something you need to have looked at. It can be anything from cysts to fibroid tumors. You just can not tell especially since you have diabetes. If the doctor has said that you need surgery, then they must know something about what it is and the cause.   Please seek professional medical help. Call the nearest hospital and ask them for referals to doctors who might be in a program to help you. Please do stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!Vicki M
