Claude - There is no doubt that age is not kind to us in many ways but there is no particular reason that sex has to stop because you have hit 66. How you are functioning sexually and what types of problems could be causing it may become clearer with a little history. If your sexual functioning has been slowly declining over the last 10 years or more and this decline has been associated with the development of health problems it may be the health problems or the medications used to address it. If there has been a very sudden change in sexual performance in the absence of diagnosed medical problems you should get a thorough check up and consider what lifestyle and emotional changes have taken place during this period.

Sometimes treating the underlying problem helps with the outward symptom, in this case, the difficulty to get an erection. Sometimes you may just need a little help from one of the established treatments for ED. Talk to your doctor to see if one of these might be right for you after you have ruled out other causes.
