Edyta - It is always a good idea to start with your primary physician. Sometimes physical problems like diabetes or vascular disorders can cause problems. There are also medications that create problems as well. Once other causes, including psychological and lifestyle issues, are ruled out then your primary may refer you on to an oncologist.

Edyta - In my initial answer to your question I mistakenly said that the primary doctor may refer on to an oncologist. That was incorrect! I meant to say urologist. Sorry for any confusion!
