Mauri - If you haven't spoken to your doctor since the addition of the clonodine please do so! You have to be an advocate for yourself and tell him/her how the clonodine has affected you and that the side effects are unacceptable. There are many medications that can be used to control high blood pressure and you may have to ask that you be tried on different combinations that might have the desired effect without the unwanted side effects. It is also important to do everything you can to improve your blood pressure through diet, exercise, reduction of caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, and other substances. This may result in a reduced need for medications and therefore less of the unwanted side effects. Good Luck!
