Layer clothes and make sure they are from breathable materials like cotton
Keep ice water handy at all times
Keep a mini electric fan close by - even hand held
Do stay in touch with your doctor as you use the gel and ask him to play with the strength and formulations - it's definitely not "one stop shopping" - sometimes you have to play with how often you use it as well.
