My boyfriend can get a boner but ass soon as the condom goes on he cant get it up. What should I do?

My boyfriend says he has self-control over his erections and ejaculations. He can get a boner no problem anytime, but as soon as a condom gets put in the equation it goes limp. But then he can get it up after the condom incident. He wants to have sex and hes a teenager I dont see what could be...
