Erectile Dysfunction in and of itself is a problem for any couple that really enjoys intimacy and an ongoing sex life.  So any "dysfunction" on the part of the guy or the gal should be taken seriously and should be checked out.  That being said, erectile dysfunction can be a signal that there are other ongoing health issues - for example people who may not know that they have diabetes or someone with arterial plaque - can have ED as a first symptom.  Have your husband get checked out so you can get to the source of the problem sooner rather than later.
