Road paint, printer ink found in illegal impotence meds

An undercover sting performed by reporters at the BBC found that getting illegal versions of Viagra and other impotence drugs was easy, but patients could be getting more than they bargained for, experts say. The pills--which were handed over for cash in a parking garage--contained the same active ingredient as Viagra, but scientists found that the counterfeit medicine also contained ingredients ranging from lead-based road paint to printer ink which were used to give the pills a Viagra-like blue tint. Experts caution that men should only buy ED drugs through reputable pharmacies, and only after being diagnosed by a doctor.  Read full story >
