Sexual Problems in Men

Many men have a normal sex drive and normal erections, but have problems with orgasm and ejaculation that interfere with sexual pleasure. These problems can include

  • reaching orgasm and ejaculating too quickly (premature ejaculation)

  • difficulty reaching orgasm (inhibited orgasm, or anorgasmia)

  • reaching orgasm but having no ejaculation (also known as a "dry" orgasm).

Each of these problems may have several different causes, including underlying medical conditions, surgery and medication side effects. In order to get started, we need to find out more about your specific problem.

Pick one the statements below which best describes your problem with orgasm or ejaculation if you have more than one of these, choose the most bothersome one and return here later to learn more about the others.

dash  I ejaculate too quickly during sex.
dash  I have difficulty reaching orgasm.
dash  My orgasm is "dry" (no semen).
