I would like to share some information. We all have mucous membranes, our eyes, mouth, nose, a woman's vagina are examples. When bodily fluids such as semen come into contact with a mucuous membrane, an STD can be transmitted. Also, many of us have tiny cuts on our hands/body that we don't know about. If a bodily fluid such as vaginal fluid comes into contact with a man's hand, he is at risk if she has certain types of STD's. I found a very informative website that gives more info about safe sex. The author is Violet Blue. She advocates using condoms for intercourse and oral sex, and using gloves, with or without lubrication (eg. KY Jelly). She encourages people to make it fun. Why not put on a glove with a sly smile and make it snap a bit? She instructs how to put on a condom with your mouth, which is very sexy. Let's be safe, and make it fun. Here is the link:

There are two types of HSV, HSV type 1 and 2, and both can cause genital herpes.
