so when you put Herpes into google lot's of great sounding treatments are being advertised eg "Never an Outbreak" using liquid oxygen therapy etc. So thought it would be interesting for us all to say which we've tried and if you've had any success. I've just tried the H-Balm super strength and find that the oil when put on the tingling and itching defenitely feels better temporarily but it hasn't make it go away permanently. It gives a nice warm feeling. I was just reading about "Never an Outbreak" claiming it will make you symptom free, has anyone tried it and found it works? Or something else. I use Valtrex, Super Lysene, Vit C, trying to increase Lysine rich foods and avoid argenine but I"m still suffering from itching and tingling.

You probally need to get on 1000 mg of valtrex a day to get rid of it sounds like your on a too little dose your doctor can help you out no reason to stay like that something is wrong there.

hi,

i also use H-balm super strength regular which definately stops the extreme soreness & itching for a period of hours. Expensive but couldnt be without it, stinks too.

I gave up using lysine when i nearly choked on the tablet supplement, didnt think it worked anyway.

I ordered dynmaclear (check spelling cant remebr off hand) little bottle with blue coloured liquid which done nothing at all-total waste of money in my case.

My outbreaks have reduced  from twice to once monthly (normally around my period cycle) since i started taking seven seas multibonita immune supplement tablets (purple tub) whether this is co-incidence or not?

Cold ice pack- or run a cold shower against the outbreak site for a few mins it seems to numb it and stop some of the burning sensation.

Im also on 250 valtrex daily, which ive taken for 8 month- dont think it makes a great difference at the number of outbreaks i have but i take it anyway too frightened to stop.....(although if i have a bad outbreak and I increase valtrex to 1000 a day it seems to go away quicker 7 days)....

I was just reading up on something called Herpes Resolved. Has anybody heard of it or tried it?
