Sex with herpes

I was just told that I have herpes. I'm  so scared because I'm only 21 and now I feel like I can't enjoy the sexual liberation (with protection of course) that twenty-somethings get to enjoy. Will I ever be able to have sex without a condom again? Will I ever be able to have oral sex performed on me? What about manual sex? This seems like a whole other world. I'm so upset, this seems surreal. Why did this have to happen to me? Why am I suddenly the statistic? Why am I the one people have to make an example out of?

This is just so heartbreaking.
