Herpes outbreaks

By M.J. Sunday, January 20, 2008

My male partner (I am female) was diagnosed with herpes. The Dr. told us that the first outbreak is generally the worst and they usually slow down in occurances. This is the 3rd one in 6 motnhs and is worse than the first.

We know that outbreaks can be brought on by stress, caffiene, chocolate, alcohol and friction during sex.  His outbreaks always occur within 72 hours of intercourse. He takes a Levitra before intercourse. Since they are also a "stimulant" I'm concerned that they could also be a cause. I am just wondering if any studies have been done about ED meds and herpes outbreaks and where I might go to get information.

Yes, many people have different outbreaks. If you want to get more information about it, I recommend a STD site for you: stdpal.com. There are many supporitve people who can manage herpes easily  now
