My boyfriend of 2 years was just diagnosed with herpes. He has never had a coldsore on his mouth but since we've been together maybe 3 times he's gotten a sore on the inside of his nose. I am now going to get tested, but is it possible that I can have type 1 herpes even though he's never had a sore on his mouth only in his nose?
