I am a 63 year old woman whose blood test came back positive for genital herpes.  I have been married for 43 years. My husband states he has never been unfaithful. We have not had any sexual contact or intercourse for the last 7 years, as he is in kidney failure and a diabetic.

Ok so how can this be?  And how did I get it?  How long can the virus be dormate?  I know he slept with 2 females prior to us getting married.
