If Genital Herpes is that out of control 1 out of every 5 people, I can't believe the pharma companies wouldn't be scrabbling to find a cure for it. I know it is more of an inconvenience and usually isn't like threatening but it would be nice to get rid of it once and for all.

IMO, the surge is Herpes cases comes from the false sense of safety and security people attribute to being protected while using a (male) condom.  (I can definitely attest to the fact that condoms didn't protect me from Herpes)
