By INOSINT Tuesday, March 04, 2008

I just read a comment that type1 can transmit to genital area for which I seek a photo or shared info, if available. Thanks

Hi INOSINT, my name is Camilo and I am monitoring this Sharepost Community. First of all, let me thank you for posting in our community, everyone's experiences, curiosity, and knowledge is greatly appreciated. While I am not a healthcare practitioner and thus cannot provide you with any professional advice, I can direct you to some resources on our site that I think you might find helpful. Mainly I think you should read the following two articles and then our symptoms page to guide yourself a bit. Afterward you should consult a healthcare practitioner to either confirm or dispel your notion of having genital HSV1 or possibly HSV2. Below are the links to the articles and symptoms page.

3. Specific Symptoms of Genital Herpes

Don't forget to consult your healthcare practitioner before adopting any new knowledge into practice!

This is true.  You can transfer oral herpes through oral sex.  Photos will not help you since the blisters look the same just in some case there are more in genital area.
