Though I have not found my love yet. i went through the same, I mean same thing. Its one of those things you say it is a blessing and a curse. It teaches you to respect your body , no matter what you are going throw.  And to know yourself and  limitation in your sexual life. ( don't just raw with anyone). I am happy that you found love after all you went throw, but there is a chance for a baby, just talk to you doctor.  Your boyfriend knows the risk if no protection, when you told him you had it. it up to you two. but like I said talk to you doctor. congrads.

G HSV type 1 is not all that serious. Even if your BF actually caught it, he would likely only have one episode and never have another problem with it again.  Now Type 2 is another matter. The only real problem for you is that if you want children you should consult with your obstetrician on how to avoid giving it to the baby during childbirth.
