I have a mild case of genital herpes.. I havent been tested but ive looked up several pictures and it looks identical just minutes ago.. Even though I was relieved that it was not a serious case, the fact that I have it is just overwhelms me in a negative way. I care not for myself but how the person I love more than anything would take it and how I can keep her from getting it. So my question is since I have a 'mild case' of genital herpes if I spread it to her by mistake would it be a mild case that she gets or can it be something more severe? If you know or can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

There are two types of HSV, HSV type 1 and 2, and both can cause genital herpes.
