By worried1 Tuesday, April 15, 2008
My boyfreind and I have just recently started having oral sex and 3 days later I noticed i had this red watery bump like thing on the side of my labia. I went to the doctor and she said that she "thinks" I have genital herpies. We've been kissing and having sex but I've never had anything likr this. I want to know if you guys think its herpies as well. Please help. I can't wait for my results from the doc because it will take a week.

My ex-boyfriend gave me herpes with no signs or symptoms, he still claims that he dosen't have it! We were together for at least a YEAR before I noticed anything unusual down there... the best thing to do is wait for the blood test. If you do have it, it's not the end of the world and there are treatments for it. Best of luck to you.

Your welcome. I'm just 20 years old, and when I found my results I was devistated. I had only ever had lost my virginity to another virgin, and then had sex with my ex. My ex actually threatened to tell all of my friends, co-workers, and any new guys that I might be seeing about it!!! It's been really hard for me to deal with, but I take Valtrex daily and I've only ever had ONE outbreak! I make sure to tell a person before we get intimate, and we usually decide to use a condom and everything is fine! I understand what you are going through. If your boyfriend decides to leave you, hes a jerk! You deserve better and there are guys out there that understand. Remember there are millions of people living with this too. - So Cali Girl
