have lived with this all of my adult life , i do not take treatment & only have 1or 2 outbreaks a year . but still im glad to have found this site ! ther is life for us you know !

With herpes 1 less outbreaks like he said once or twice a yr if you avoid stress. But 2 is worse and will have more outbreaks unless you control it with meds such as Acyclovor 200 mg I am taking 5 times a day at two pills a day until I get this severe out break under raps, the med is suppose to make the outbreaks less often but I want to let everyone know I have had it 10 yrs and stress has alot to do with it and the type you have has alot to do with it. Even those of us with it bad believe there is hope for a better life, and mine was in a remission for 5yrs can you believe that I could not.

I had it for 7 yrs and never even once had break-outs like most. When I went to my doctor he ask was i hangin from a chandiler because I just had a discomfort light rash on my inner thigh! never lesions, bumps or even worse. A family told me to count my blessing. Well im still counting because the 7th year and still no bad out breaks just discomfort in that same area- inner thigh. No meds on a constant basis unless the discomfort was not well for me to deal with.

Oh, you are great. I can manage my outbreak now also. But I had a serious one just in last month. I am going to ask the STD counselor later when I go back to my favorite site herpesloving.com. I hope to see you there.
