Sore vagina...scared it could be herpes? Please help

By baby_girl43 Monday, February 07, 2011

The other day my vagina seemed sore. Mainly on the bottom part of my lips closer to the opening. It was a little red and sensitive when I touched it. Now, 2 days later, the skin in that specific spot is peeling a little and it looks like I sort of have 1 little circle bump with a whiteish/yellow color in the center that hurts when I touch it. It also stings when urine touches it everytime I go to the bathroom. It's weird also, I had the flu like a week ago and was very sick but I don't think that has anything to do with it because now my mom, dad, and brother are all sick with the same symptoms now so I think it was just the flu. Also, school just started back up and I'm constantly around like 150 different kids a day so I could have easily caught the flu. AND another thing, I've been getting brazillian waxes for about two years now and as of right now, my hair is still growing back in. Could it possibly be just an infected ingrown hair? Whenever I do get an ingrown hair, my skin does peel a little around it, but it's never hurt this bad before and it's never stung when urine touches it. Another thing, I did have Molluscum Contagiosum about a month ago and the doctor removed all them, but maybe she forgot one and I still have it and this new bump is it as well? I don't know! I'm so confused and worried, I'm trying to throw any option out there! Please, can someone help me?! I'm going to the doctor in two days but I can't take it anymore, I'm scared out of my mind and would like to know now!

Well, you won't be sure until you get looked at by a doctor. When I get an outbreak, it starts by really itching in one spot and the area is red and swollen. Finally a red bump comes up a few hours later. The next day, the sore opens and it is red around it and white in the middle. It looks just like a mouth sore. If I don't take antivirals, it last for about a week where if I do it last for a few days. But, this is how my outbreaks are. I would go get tested because you are going to worry yourself to death. It could be nothing.
