I am 16 years old and i was diagnosed with Genital Herpes(HSV 1) a little over a month ago. I contracted HSV 1 from my boyfriend, he had HSV 1 in his mouth and it was contracted through oral sex. If you thought that you couldnt get HSV 1 down there, think again! because thats what happened to me...

I know i have to be and it's just one of those things that comes as a consequence and it forces you to grow up right away.

Hi Chelsea,
I'm 20 (a little bit older) but still young and living with gh, so I know how you feel. It's something we're gonna have to carry with us for a long time, and its especially difficult because of the whole "do crazy things while you are young" bit. But we just have to be careful.
