Usually it takes more then 8 hours to get herpes. Usually it takes any where from 2 to 10 days. Then when u take the blood test it could take up to 3 months to test positive.
Your condion sounds correct though. Its possible that dude u slept with first had an outbreak. Herpes is very contagious if the person is having an outbreak. I mean very contagious. If u have any questions for me please feel free to message me
