oral herpes spreadable through cunninglingus?

I was wondering, if this is a possible scenario? If a person with a cold sore on their lip/inside of mouth, performs cunninglingus on a person and bites them, can they give their partner simplex 1 herpes (the common cold sore) this way?

Yes, the virus can be transmitted from an infected mouth to the non-infected genital area...even without a bite. You should always use a condom/dental dam when performing oral sex on a non-infected person.
