I realized today that I haven't been writing in my "journal" like I said I would. I found a new best friend through this web site. We talk just about every other day until classes get kind of rough.

I haven't had an out break since my first episode! I haven't been doing a lot of research like I use to. I read the same 2 books I bought online about my gift. They're very helpful.  "Managing Herpes: Living and Loving with HSV"-Charles Ebel and "Understanding Herpes"-Lawrence R. Stanberry. I also have a book, that I think you should check out from teh library not buy, "The Top 100 Immunity Boosters."

I stopped taking my birth control for a week because I read some where that if you talk birth control you can get frequent OB. I talked to my doctor and she laughed at me in my face (which really pissed me off). She told me that the gift is a virus and birth control is a hormone, two different things. So it's safe to take birth control. Also I take L-Lysine 1000mg and Vitamin C 1000mg pills once a day. The doctor told me that I could take Flinstone Vitamin Pills instead of buying all of these pills.

Oh and I still go to my therapist once every three weeks, it's very helpful!

The last thing I want to say was it gets easier. Just take it one day at a time. The first couple of days that I found out that I had the gift I couldn't look at myself in the mirror, now...I can. I reached one of my goals.

You're beautiful and it gets easier.
