1 Month, 2 Weeks, and 6 Days

I realized today that I haven't been writing in my "journal" like I said I would. I found a new best friend through this web site. We talk just about every other day until classes get kind of rough.

I haven't had an out break since my first episode! I haven't been doing a lot of research like I use to. I read the same 2 books I bought online about my gift. They're very helpful. "Managing Herpes: Living and Loving with...

1st week of my gift under my belt

Today is officially the first week that I've survived my gift. I want to cry still but I haven't just because I still feel like a monster or a leper. I can look at myself in the mirror again. I'm truly excited about that!
I quite, no no retired from the track and cross country team today. I had a drug test (thank you Marion Jones for messing it up for...

Day 4: Relapse

I was doing fine all day! My boyfriend came over, he's lives an hour and a half away, I ate lunch with his mother, aunt, and cousin. Today was a pretty perfect day. When my boyfriend came home (I have my own apartment, no roommates!) all I wanted to do was throw kisses on him. Apparently I wasn't the only person who wanted to do the same thing. I felt like a newly wed, we just couldn't keep our hands and...

Day 3: finding more information about my gift

Today relay burned my bagel (my prof says that and I think it's too funny). I had a great plan go to Planned Parenthood and American Red Cross for more information on my gift. So I went to Planned Parenthood and the shmuck of a receptionist was really rude to me. The place opens at 8 am so I went at 9:30, to give them time to settle in. The lady wasn't doing anything, there was only 4 people there (3 people who work there and me), and she...

Day 2 with my gift

I haven't cried all day! Yesterday I started my treatment and I cried all day because I felt like I disgraced to my family, I was ashamed of myself. I haven't told them (my family), only my long term boyfriend knows. I feel a lot better. I went to all my classes today and I was alright. None of my friends know that I have a new gift and it's great, I'm not being treated like some type of freak. I'm scared that once I'm off my...
