I'm a gay 17 year old and a senior in high school. I am just getting over epididymitis (inflammation of the testicles is all I really got out of it).But anyway... Earlier today... I found a red dot on the head of my penis. It was kind of like a sore I think. No bleeding. But there was what seemed to be some type of secretion.I immediately freaked out and went on Yahoo to find out as much as I could. I saw some pictures that looked kinda like what I have. I'm not sure if it is what I have or not. There is no itching or burning or anything. And there is only 1 spot. And I can't get to the free clinic because they are closed from now until December 28th. I'm very worried and would love to hear something from someone. I'm very worried about my mom finding out... And I worry about my future... like if I will ever find someone who will be ok being with me if I have genital herpes.
I was 15 when i got herpes. Now you may not actually have anything, yet if you do... there is hope. I am currently single but was in a 5 year relationshp with someone who never made "it" an issue for us. It is definately something that is not to be with held from partners but... just try not to freak out. You could just be feeling paranoid. When i found out i had it, my sister was telling me once a week she thought she had something. Just breathe and go to the clinic when u get a chance. And if u do have it, your famly will still love u
