Hi Mjh, my name is Camilo and I am monitoring this sharepost community. I appreciate you posting your concerns here on our community. Although I am not a healthcare practitioner and cannot provide any medical advice, I can direct to some helpful sites that may help address some of your questions. Dr. Greyson wrote a very informative article that states that you can still transmit the virus even in the absence of an outbreak and under anti-retroviral drug therapies such as Valtrex. The title of the article is Transmitting Herpes: How to Protect The Ones You Love. In addition we also host a transmission page that may answer any additional questions you may have after reading the article. Dr. Greyson also directly answers the question of whether or not one can transmit the virus when one has no apparent symptoms. You can read her response by clicking here. I hope these resources were helpful in addressing your concerns. Please feel free to continue posting with any other questions you may have.
