Quesion about spreading HSV

In my spare time today, I was just thinking about my HSV infection.  I was diagnosed with Herpes a little over three months ago.  I have only had one outbreak.  As far as I know my husband doesn't have it yet.(thank goodness)  (I had an affair and acquired HSV)  Needless to say, I am on Valtrex because it terrifies me that I could transmit "it" to someone else.  I was just wondering if anyone else who takes Valtrex has transmitted Herpes to anyone that they know of.  I know they say it decreases the chances of transmitting it, but I need to know first hand.  I would love to hear from someone who has taken it for awhile and remained sexually active.
