Talking about complications from Herpes, here's one.  I contract herpes in the early fall of 2007.  I started getting REALLY sick. Fatigue, fibromyalgia symptoms, severe dry mouth, joint pain, and a host of other unpleasant symptoms.  I didn't know I had herpes at that point.  In Decmeber of 2008 the doctors found out I have Sjogren's and possibly RA.  In February 2009 I found out I had herpes II.  The auto immune symptoms started pretty quickly after I was exposed to the herpes and way before my diagnosis.  All my doctors feel that the herpes virus "fired off" the auto immune problem.  They feel that when I contracted the herpes virus my body went into attack mode and then started attacking my own body.  I now feel really rotten all the time, have to deal with the occassional outbreak and the auto immune problem rages on.  Herpes II is a serious ailment.  Everyone needs to be so honest cause even if your Herpes outbreaks are more of nuisance than a real "sickness" for some people it can be really serious.
