Hello,

This is a serious let down of a summer...I was seeing someone and it ended as fast as I could say we might be in a relationship.  But, we slept together once (not worth it), used a condom, and even put my penis through underwear to cover other areas.  We never had oral, and I never put my penis in direct contact with her areas.  Now, about a month later which has already been stressful, I go down and open my urethra and see a weird kind of splotch on the inside.  I haven't had burning, but a kind of weird urging to pee.  Does anyone know the chance if I would have gotten it else where showing up in my urethra?  I need to go to the doctor and figure it out once and for all, but really, on my weekend off with my family this isn't making things easier one bit...Plus, I am living out of town from my normal doctor, does anyone have any thoughts on where else to go?

There are two types of HSV, HSV type 1 and 2, and both can cause genital herpes.
