Call your local county STD clinic.  Ours in San Diego charges $15 for an entire series of tests with results in two weeks. And that fee can be waived,   Always use a condom but skin to skin contact spreads this virus  and your condom doesn't cover your thighs and other parts that touch.

Most people don't even know they have  HSV and are passing it along over and over as they are symptom free and only a carrier. Stop having  sex until you are married as that is what I decided after I was diagnoised.  85 percent of people will never have sex with you once they know you have a SDT, per a poll last week.

Plannned parenthood also has low cost exams but regardless, you must go in the day you get your tiny blister so they can get a sample of it to test for the lab.

really? 85% of people will NOT have sex with you if you tell them you have an STI? Well, that just ruins hope for a whole lot of us. I don't plan to be married for many years (I'm only 20) and I'm not sure I believe that statistic polled very many people. Try not to make negative comments like that, because not all of us who have been diagnosed will wait until we are married, no offense. And although I haven't experienced telling someone yet, I have heard that if you wait to see if the relationship gets serious, and tell them calmy giving them lots of details about the virus everything should be okay.

Some of us are hanging onto that hope, okay?
