"You tested positive for Herpes Simplex 2... is that a shock, or were you expecting that?"  I understood why the polite female voice at the other end of the phone asked me that, but at the moment, it seemed like an idiotic question.  I never, ever had any sort of reason to think I might hav...

    Dear sir/madam:

Forgive my skepticism, but every single reputable medical information website (webMD, HealthCentral, etc... even Wikipedia) still conclusively says that there is no cure for genital herpes.  On top of that, if you do a simple Google search for "Lectroject," nearly every page that comes up (aside from ones within the Lectroject site) echo what I've been saying about the product's questionable-at-best nature.  In fact, here's a page that gives a complete product analysis:

    http://lectroject.googlepages.com/

It's not just me that thinks this product is a scam, and it's not an "attack" if it's true.  In your case, if you tested negative after having the disease, praise God!  You're one of the few (if any) people that have been cured.  However, because of all of the current information, I'd wonder if your initial positive diagnosis was accurate in the first place.  Again, since all reputable sources say there is no cure, it makes me wonder if you ever were truly infected in the first place.

I'm not saying this product doesn't have any benefits.  I'm not a doctor.  I haven't tried it myself.  It may help manage outbreaks, it may have beneficial theraputic qualities, but I'm still pretty sure that it's not a cure.  Thanks for your feedback.

I'm not sure what your sources of information are, however a recent studies shows medical doctors to be glorified drug dealers, easily manipulated by drug companies, and most medical journals are peer-reviewed. We know that the system of peer review is biased, unjust, unaccountable, incomplete, easily fixed, often insulting, usually ignorant, occasionally foolish, and frequently wrong. Some sociologists of science even argue that peer review makes the ability to publish susceptible to control by pharmaceutical elite and to personal jealousy.   My personal opinion is... It probably has something to do with the corporate policy: There is no money in a cure. As companies have realized over the years, there is much more profit in treating a disease. The cure is great, but doesn't help stockholders!

This device does not work.  So stated on freepressrelease and Cell-Cure-Booster.com.  Also marketed as Lectroject   Marietjie Kriel Morgan (cellcurebooster) Danie Kriel (Lectroject)

You know you are conning people.  Give me one geniune testimonial and not the ones you have in the file at Marietjie Morgans house as i have been through them all and they are bogis.  You know full well that the device does not work.  You are even marketing it under Cell-Cure-Booster.com and know it is a scam.  I have seen these devices 1st hand and it is just a load of nothing.  Wires and batteries and nothing to prove it works.  Claiming it was approved by the F.D.A.  Only the Acyclovir was approved not the Lectroject.  Danie kriel you and your sister Marietjie Morgan are conning people.  You have never had HSV2, you are lying as you are the one marketing the product.  You cant fool the intelligent as you are writing on your own site.

If you did know, you would have to fight the urge to suffocate them in their sleep or strangle them with your bare hands like I did. I know exactly who infected me and my baby. My loving husband. So for all our sakes, we are now divorced and I personally chose to remain celibate. He, however, chose to pass it on to his live-in girlfriend and who knows who else without their knowledge or consent.

Wow.  I'm so sorry that happened to you and your family.  So is he just spreading it and not informing any of his partners beforehand?  I sure do hope that isn't the case.  That's beyond cowardly... it's criminal.

Anyway, I have a pretty good idea of who gave it to me.  The difference is that I'm pretty sure she didn't do it knowingly, and it didn't have anything to do with infidelity.  Plus, regardless of her circumstances... I was still the idiot for going in unprotected.

I'm not calling you an idiot at all, because you shouldn't naturally suspect your husband of anything like this.  I'm just saying that in my case, I was just as much to blame as my infector.  That helps me avoid the desire to kill.  ;)

My question to you is how did he infect your child?  Was it transmitted neonatally through you during birth?  Or did he abuse him/her?  If it's too personal, I understand.  And if this is too "public" of a place to talk about it, please feel free to send me a private message.  Thanks for your feedback.

There are two types of HSV, HSV type 1 and 2, and both can cause genital herpes.
