The exact same thing happened to me, boyfriend of 2 yrs, we broke up for 2 weeks and he slept with someone else with. Then him and I got back together, had lots of makeup sex. I thought I was getting a bacterial infection at first from having sex so much. He noticed a little lesion, then 2 days later after being itchy and red for 2 days, I got some sores. We went to the doctor and he said we most likely have herpes (test results pending, altho its very obvious) Today has been the 5th days since the start of my breakout and its almost completely gone, the DR started me on Valtrex... Me and my boyfriend are still together and I am struggling with the diagnosis, its hard to think I am going to live with this terrible virus for the rest of my life!
