I was diagnosed with HSV in January, I had thought that I was having symptoms of a second outbreak, but have not had one. I'm not currently on any medication, I'm still sexually active, but much more careful than I have been in the past. I've read many of the posts about viral shedding, but am still a little confused. Is there anyway to know when you are shedding the virus? Is oral sex still safe?
