I have just started life with Genital Herpes. I was wonder when will it get better..I started off with a few soars and they have become more and more! Will these ever stop?

Friday, July 17, 2009 at 09:20 PMIn the beggining it is really bad and Valtrex controls the number of out breaks so you will have less outbreak the longer you have it the less the number of out breaks. I wish they would come up with a cure but none as yet stick with one partner as to avoid going through it from the start again. It gets better with time but it never stops hurting. so sorry.

Yes it will get better. Are you on any drug therapy? Sometimes that helps, also cold compresses help the tenderness.
