Hi Melissa, my name is Camilo and I am monitoring this Sharepost Community. I am not a certified healthcare practitioner and thus cannot give you any professional advice. I can, however, provide you with some helpful resources in our site that might help you get an idea of what is going on. However keep in mind that the information is just to point you in the right direction so that you can be well informed when you consult a physician about your condition. Lets get started, it seems that you are asking whether or not your symptoms are classical signs of herpes. To figure that out you should look at the classical symptoms page. I suggest that you read thoroughly through that in order to understand what the symptoms usually are, and which of those symptoms are similar to what you are experiencing. In addition, our expert, Dr. Grayson wrote a great article about the symptoms of herpes and when to expect them; you can supplement your knowledge with that article. Finally you should consult another of Dr. Grayson's articles--Is it Herpes, Or Something Else?--that article will provide you with symptoms for other conditions that people typically mistake for herpes. I hope that I was of some help. Please do not hesitate to post back with any other questions you may have. Also please remember to consult your physician before adopting any new knowledge into practice. Good luck!
