i am wondering if with regard to herpes serology, if the intake of substances such as caffeine, alcohol, or even marijuana will affect the results with regards to detecting the the herpes antibodies??? Ive read that such substance intake (the three aforementioned) would definitely not affect HIV antibody testing? is it the same for hsv antibody testing?
