This has been very helpful and I appreciate your articles. I feel like this disease is destroying my life. I never experienced breakouts until around March of this year. Could you please write more articles on this awful virus?

    Thanks,

    Hi-

    Has anyone ever done these???

    Do regular pain killers work?

I don't know much about the "herpes dating sites" but I do know there are 2 forms of herpes type 1 and type 2. No there is no cure but some anti viral.

My doctor has not given me a pain killer but I am in a lot of pain what do I do?

Ask your DR for a pain killer! I've been reading a lot lately and apparently OTC pain relievers are good/common to take, but my first outbreak was in June this year and the first thing the DR did was prescribe me pain meds.  On nights when I'm having trouble getting to sleep/sleeping through the night, I'll still take one so I don't unconsciously irritate what's already irritated...if you get what I'm saying...and I get to sleep through the night. Good Luck!
