I am not sure yet if I have herpes. I have a sore on my penis just at the base but i shave and know the doctor thinks it could be Impetigo. His reason is that the sore is not painful. I am having tests done but hate the wait. I have a sore for the first time about the size of a dime that is not painful at all. Bit of an itch. I can apply presure and rub it will very minimal pain. Is herpes sores always painful. I am hoping I just cut my self shaving down there and got impetigo. My glands were swollen for a few days but the doctor said that my glands by my penis could have gotten swollen from an impetigo infection to
