as the rocky road of life with herpes continues, there are always little challenges to consider as I learn to live with it. Being accepted by my boyfriend when I told him was a big deal for me. We have a great relationship and I am truly thankful that i've found someone so accepting.

Something I really enjoyed pre-herpes was oral sex. I had refused it from my current boyfriend for fear of infecting him. After I had told him I have herpes, we found other ways to enjoy each other. But Im kind of curious: should I bring up the topic now, after having been together for over a year -- by searching for safe ways to enjoy oral again? or should I just forget it and realise it is a pleasure of the past that I wont experience again?

Im concerned of that rejection and of making him feel awkward about it. Any advice would be great. Thanks
