SO I have just been diagnosed with HSV2- genital herpes, excpet my first ever primary outbreak was on my right arm towards my shoulder. Now that I have this, can I pass it on through just kissing, or just sexual contact? Or both? I dont really understand or know much about this and I am only in my early 20's. Please help.

I am sorry you contacted herpes 2. I have had this virus since 1998. The truth is you can always give it to someone else, however 1 out of 5 already have it believe it or not. If you have a partner that does not have it take the once a day valtrex and wear a rubber and she will probally remain herpes free, but you should talk about the risk if the rubber breaks and she gets it. If someone loves you they will hang which is the good news. The other good news your young probally have good immune system and that means it will go into a remission and that can last for many years depends on how well you take care of your health and what you do to build up your own immune system right. It is not the end of the world although it may seem like it, because you are still you and hopefully you will get with a person that what makes them tick is more than just sex right.
