Genital herpes, infectious diseases in general
Moved out west at 17 to the mountains. Miss it everyday. Young and idealistic, I enjoyed the outdoors so much I even lived in a teepee for a while. Eights years later, I returned to the city, and went back to school for medicine. I abandoned this before completion, however, to pursue a business opportunity, and as I had become a dad not wanting to sacrifice time with my son. I still do research for a professor of mine (infectious diseases), only now I find myself living with one. Currently, I'm divorced with two incredible boys, remembering what the single life is like after nine years. Herpes has affected me psychologically, and compels me to write and communicate about it.
