Spreading HSV-1

Hi, I was diagnosed with HSV-1 in my anal area. Can I spread HSV-1 to my partner from regular and/or oral sex. Does the person need to come in contact with a sore/lession from the anal area or can they get from touching any part of my genital area? I have oral HSV-1 and love to give oral but I am fearful of transmitting it.

I have Oral HSV-1 and so does my partner. We both love performing oral sex on one another but are both very fearful of transmitting the virus to both our genitals from our mouths. How likely is this as we both realize it is a very real possibility.

There are two types of HSV, HSV type 1 and 2, and both can cause genital herpes.
