In July I went to the doctor and she thought I had herpes so she perscribed me medication to take (which helped) but when she got the test back it came back negative. On Valtrex right now and depressed

Well it's been 11 months when I first found out I tested positive for genital herpes. The guy I was with for a while had sex with me, and never told me he had it. We are no longer together. I knew the risk I was running when I took my husband back. I thought we were careful, just not careful enough appearantly.
