Q: I have a sore on my lip, it's red and painful. I think it's a cold sore. I find it kind of hard to believe it's Herpes because I've gotten sores even before I was sexually active.
But, I also have bump on the top of my vagina. I can't see it, though, it kind of blends in. I can feel it, especially after I wipe. I've had 3 bumps in 4 years. I've looked up pictures of genital herpes online. None of them look like mine. But, I know they vary from person to person. What I'm wondering is, is the thing on my lip and vagina herpes, or are there other conditions that can cause sores?

Thanks for your response. I forgot to mention that the sore on my lip is red, and it's got a cluster of 8 tiny little white bumps. When I have my mouth closed, you can barely see them. Very tingly & itchy all day long. :( I'm thinking of seeing a doctor by Wednesday or Thursday. The bump on my vagina went away after 2 days, I think it just might've been a pimple or something. I'm really hoping this sore on my lip is something other than herpes. I'm really getting into this person I met, & I'm scared he'd never be interested if he knew. People aren't really attracted to a disease that stays with them forever.
