Q: i was on acyclovir and tested positive for herpes 2, ( 1.1). three months later after stopping the drug tested negative, <0.91). just started the drug again and tested equivocal, 9.5.no sex for 1 year

I know that I have herpes from the sores and symptoms; plus a culture from an active sore came back positive. My test score for HSV-2 was low like yours and I take acyclovir. I wondered does the drug perhaps lower it?
